Spring has sprung ...
Spring has sprung. Time to take stock. Literally.
I have made loads of lovely tweed things but as they say in business school, no point in making stuff if you can't get it to market. Every year I know that Cheltenham Races are the ideal market for my lovely tweed clothes. Every year after Christmas this opportunity passes untapped but not this year. I am determined. I talk to my great racing friend, Blossom, and she suggests that I put an ad in The Field Magazine. Great idea. But what? Light bulb moment. A drawing to catch attention amongst all those photographs. Better still a cartoon to make people laugh. People in the racing world like a bit of fun. My friend Magali's partner is the artist Derek Piliotis who produced two great horsey cartoons, one for Cheltenham and the other for Ascot (you will have to wait for that one). Bingo, Bang on, Brilliant. It is in this month's Field Magazine. Now for our Easter Bonnets, on chicks, Chic non! See next month's Field.
